Sunday
School Is For Everyone!
The
Presbyterian Church in
Leonia has two adult classes every Sunday morning. The first meets at 9:30 a.m. and focuses on reading
and discussing scripture or a book of common concern. Philip Wilson
leads the adult class, and we invite you to join them!
The
other adult Sunday School class is an ESL Bible study held after worship each Sunday. The class is designed for those who speak English as a foreign language. They discuss
vocabulary as well as the meaning of the passages. The Reverend Debra Given and others lead the class. A light lunch is served.
This year's childrens classes meet Sundays at 9:30 a.m. to learn and discuss Bible stories, sing and grow together as sisters and brothers in faith. See the Kid's Corner page for information on baptism and communion for children.
Class age groups are:
- Preschool & K (age 3 through kindergarten)
- Elementary (1st - 5th grade)
- Middle School (6th - 9th grade)
- Adult Class
Bible Study
Besides Sunday Morning Classes before and after Worship, a Bible Study Group is held every Wednesday Morning at 10:45 a.m. During special Church seasons, such as Advent and Lent, additional evening Bible studies are for those who wish to participate.
