Sunday School Is For Everyone!
Yes, please send your children to Sunday School. They learn great Bible stories, sing
wonderful children's Christian songs and meet with their Church family.
But, Sunday School is also for adults. The Presbyterian Church in Leonia has two great
Sunday school classes every Sunday morning. The first meets at 9:15 a.m. and focuses on
reading and discussing scripture.
The other adult Sunday School class is an ESL Bible study held after worship each
Sunday. The class is designed for those for who don’t speak English as their native
language. They discuss vocabulary as well as the meaning of the passages, as they read
through the gospel of Luke. The Reverend Debra Given and others lead the class. A light
lunch is also served.
Class age groups currently are:
Kindergarten & 1st Grade
2nd through 5th Grades
6th through 8th Grades
Adult Class
